No, I'm Just Slow

Since they haven't seen a NEX-7 review yet someone asked if I have given up on Sony.

No, I haven't. This is a site for all mirrorless cameras, and I'm not trying to play favorites. I am trying to make sure that I give each camera a pretty full workout, though.

I don't get loaner equipment from manufacturers, I buy it. My purchased NEX-7 didn't arrive until late April, at which point I was fully engaged with a number of other things for review. I don't just pick up a camera, play with it for a few hours, then write a review. I actually take these things on real shooting trips, use them in multiple shooting situations, and try to form a real opinion about how they perform. Thus, I'm never the first one to review something. I'm often the last. Suffice it to say, I've been shooting with the NEX-7 and will report on it when I feel comfortable that all of my conclusions are supportable from actual experience.

To cut you off at the pass: the same applies to the OM-D EM-5. And a bunch of lenses. And the new Samsungs. And the Ricoh M-mount and 24-70mm modules. As I finish with each one, you'll see reviews start to pop.

So I'm just slow. I'd rather be slow and accurate than fast and unreliable.
