Sony’s E-mount is for what used to be crop sensor NEX cameras and what is now the Alpha crop sensor mirrorless cameras (A5xxx, A6xxx).
The E-mount has a 1.5x angle of view crop compared with 35mm and full frame cameras. With the original NEX cameras Sony announced three lenses (18-55 kit, 18-200mm, and 16mm), and has since supplemented that with a number of additional lenses. Quite a few other companies have announced support for the E-mount, including Sigma and Zeiss.
