Nikkor Z MC 50mm f/2.8 Macro Lens Specifications

bythom nikon 50mm macro

Thom's Commentary: I'm not a fan of 50mm macro, as the working distance is too constrained. Nevertheless, this is a solid lens that can go closer when you need it to. It's modest size also makes it work as a telephoto lens on the DX cameras, too. The more I use it, the more I like it, which is a good sign with a lens. While I don't give it a specific recommendation, that's mostly because of the focal length for macro, not because of the optics. Read Thom's review of the 50mm f/2.8 MC lens
