The EOS R is the first generation of Canon's full frame mirrorless cameras, and uses the RF mount. The Ra is a version of the same camera that has a filtration layer that lets through h-Alpha wavelengths (~656nm, which is in the near infrared) and has an improved enhanced magnification capability for focusing on night skies.
