Nauticam Announces NEX-7 Underwater Housing

The just-announced NA-NEX7 housing provides a complete set of controls for using the NEX-7 underwater, including the three key control wheels and a focus lock control. The NA-NEX7 even provides corrected access to the NEX-7's EVF. The LCD is angled upwards at 15° when the camera is in the housing, putting it at a better angle for swimming with the camera in front of you. Lens ports are available for the 18-55mm kit lens, plus the 16mm and 30mm (macro) prime lenses. External Inon and Sea & Sea flash units are supported directly, Nikonos-style flashes via an optional bulkhead connector. Price is US$1850 and the first units should begin shipping in late January 2012.
